medQ, Inc. Installs Q/RIS 3000 Solutions At JRMC

Plano, Texas -- Healthcare systems provider medq, Inc., announced installation of its reporting solution at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Jamestown, ND., integrated with the center’s GE Centricity PACS IW.  This included a multiple location Voice Recognition based dictation program set up to receive images from multiple locations using the Q/ris Reading Services software as well as an integrated Q/ris 3000 Critical Test Results Notification program.

Deployment of the Q/ris 3000™ Reporting solution will enable Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) to fully automate its report creation process to improve operational and clinical productivity and reduce the turnaround time for reports to the ordering physician.

Activation of the  reading services option allows JRMC radiologists to bring in outside studies and seamlessly integrate these into a single worklist for convenient and one place dictation.

The Q/ris 3000 Critical Test Results Notification software provides radiologists the ability to improve the identification, triage and results communication protocol to the ordering physician, as well as establish a delivery verification documentation and end to end auditing process.  Fully automated and integrated in the Q/ris 3000 dictation software, radiologists will be able to assess the severity of the diagnosis and quickly contact the ordering physician to notify of the condition.

JRMC is also the 25th installation of the medQ workflow solution with the GE Centricity PACS IW.  "We are excited about this milestone as it reflects the market's acceptance of our integrated RIS/PACS." said John Norman, CEO of medQ.
