medQ Announces their Q/ris MIPS Reporting Module

medQ, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise imaging workflow solutions announces their Q/ris MIPS Reporting module.  This module is designed to enable eligible physicians, who do significant Medicare work to qualify for full reimbursement. medQ identified a number of quality performance measures and improvement activities appropriate for imaging operations, and has created a data collection and reporting tool and dashboard to view progress in meeting these goals.  This is available as an upgrade to their Q/ris 3000 RIS/EHR for those who need to comply with MIPS, in the 4th Qtr. 2017.

CMS has launched their MIPS initiative, designed to replace other reporting programs, such as, PQRS and MU.  Participation is required in 2017 to take advantage of the full benefits of the program.  MIPS is a phased roll out and could result in up to +9% additional Medicare payments. “We are pleased to be able to offer this to our customers in an effort to improve their cash flows.”  Said John Norman, CEO of medQ.

medQ, Inc., headquartered in Plano, TX, provides imaging software and service solutions that enable healthcare providers to deliver high quality and cost effective patient care.
