Dallas, Texas – Healthcare workflow systems provider medQ inc. announces a Radiology EMR module to complement its Q/ris 3000
™ offering by year end.
This module will help radiologists receive re-imbursement thru the Meaningful Use funds available by the government by supporting the stage 1 requirements. A majority of Radiologists qualify for HITECH funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Initially certification will be for a modular EMR however complete certification of this module is planned meaning that Q/ris 3000™ will provide full functionality to meet all 15 core objectives as well as 5 of the 10 menu set objectives of the Radiologist’s choice.
By incorporating Meaningful use into the Q/ris 3000™ platform eliminates the need for a Radiology practice to purchase a separate EHR to complement their system.
